A342 Working Group Survey
A group of local Parish Councils has produced a Survey for parishioners to tell us how you are affected by the current amount of traffic on the village roads and the A342 now that over 2,000 homes and the consequent extra vehicles associated with them are planned at Ludgershall.
The Group has the support of Hampshire County and Test Valley Borough Councils.
We would be very grateful if you will complete and return the Survey by 7th April as indicated: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JTPPNXD.
The Group’s Terms of Reference are:
To improve and enhance the A342 corridor within Hampshire for the safety and welfare of all road users, including pedestrians, thereby minimising any impact on those communities affected by the A342 and the surrounding road network, whilst providing an appropriate transit route for both local and through traffic. The network of surrounding roads and alternative routes is to be included, so as to improve safety, road use and Public Transport through the A342 corridor to the advantage of the local communities in the area. To work with stakeholders and public authorities, so as to bring the highest level of constructive representation possible.
The following parishes and communities are represented:
Amport, Appleshaw, Charlton, East Cholderton, Fyfield, Kimpton, Monxton, Penton Grafton, Penton Mewsey, Redenham, Thruxton, Weyhill and Ludgershall Town Council.
