TVBC’s Full Council took the decision to abandon the current plan-making system at their meeting on 22nd July.

How this will affect the parishes will emerge in due course following central government’s decision in September 2026 to withdraw the proposed reorganisation of Hampshire County Council.

Comments received by TVBC during their last Local Plan consultation show a wealth of reasons why large developments in this area are a bad idea, especially when critical infrastructure is not up to standard.’
